Jack's Cosmic Dogs, located on 17 North in Mt. Pleasant, is known for its funky and eclectic atmosphere. This original, as are most of Paul's paintings is a mixed media creation. The process began with a photography taken with a Canon 20D SLR digital camera. The photo was then developed in the darkroom of Adobe Photoshop. The next step was a virtual painting of the photo completely hand-brushstroked in Corel Painter X. That image was then printed to canvas, 30x15,stretched, and prepared for painting. The resulting canvas was then handpainted in oils covering 95-100% of the canvas and finished with a museum quality preservative medium.
