Product Details

Charlestonians refer to this grand structure as The Pink Palace; the original home of John Ravenel whose son is recognized as designing the first semi-submersible vessel which led to the design of the submarine. Construction of this 18,000 sq. ft. antebellum mansion was completed in 1849. Today, furnished with 200 year old antiques, it is operated as a Bed and Breakfast by a member of the family’s third generation. Guests can enjoy the picturesque view of The Charleston Harbor and Historic Fort Sumter. The majestic Pink Palace is located on Charleston's historic East Bay Street.
